Warranty

STONER CANYON RAFTS, LLC

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

1. SCOPE OF LIMITED COVERAGE

This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) with valid proof of purchase and is non-transferable. Coverage applies strictly to manufacturing defects.

A. 2-Year Limited Construction Warranty (Seams & Assembly)

Stoner Canyon Rafts, LLC (“Stoner Canyon”) warrants to the original Purchaser that the major air-holding seams and structural hull construction of the raft will be free from major manufacturing defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.

B. Limited Material Warranty (Fabric & Valves)

Materials (including PVC/TPE fabrics, coatings, PVC patches, webbing, valves, and drop-stitch components) are warranted against material degradation or structural delamination caused solely by manufacturing defects.

Mandatory Condition for Material Warranty: Coverage on materials is strictly contingent upon the Purchaser demonstrating that the vessel was properly stored, maintained, and cared for in accordance with Section 2.

2. MANDATORY PURCHASER CARE & STORAGE REQUIREMENTS

To maintain eligibility for any warranty claim, the Purchaser must maintain and document proper care and storage of the Product. Warranty claims for material degradation, valve leaks, or seam separation will be denied unless the Purchaser provides documentation demonstrating compliance with the following:

  1. Clean & Dry Storage: The boat must be washed with clean freshwater, free of mud, debris, and sand, and allowed to completely air-dry prior to long-term storage to prevent mildew, hydrolysis, or material breakdown.

  2. Temperature & Sun Protection: The boat must be stored in a dry, indoor environment out of direct sunlight (UV exposure) and away from extreme heat sources or freezing conditions while lightly inflated.

  3. Pressure Management: Purchaser must actively monitor and relieve air pressure when the boat is exposed to direct sunlight or rising temperatures. Over-pressurization caused by solar heat expansion voids all seam and valve warranties.

  4. Documentation: Purchaser must retain original purchase documentation, order number, and photos/records of storage conditions upon request.

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED (EXCLUSIONS)

This Limited Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, cosmetic fading, UV degradation, minor air loss over time (all inflatable vessels naturally lose small amounts of air over 24+ hours), and ordinary operational wear.

  • Impact & Abrasion Damage: Punctures, tears, cuts, drag marks, frame wear, rock impacts, wrap damage, pin damage, or contact with sharp objects, strainers, or obstacles.

  • User Negligence & Misuse: Over-inflation, improper folding/rolling, chemical exposure (gasoline, oils, harsh solvents), dragging across boat ramps/gravel, rodent or animal damage, or failure to follow user manuals.

  • Commercial, Rental, or Institutional Use: Boats used for commercial outfitting, guiding, rental operations, or instructional programs are completely excluded from this consumer warranty unless authorized in a separate, signed written contract by Stoner Canyon Rafts, LLC. Crafts are not intended for commercial uses.

  • Modifications & Unauthorized Repairs: Any boat that has been aftermarket-welded, drilled, modified, or repaired using unapproved materials or non-factory techniques.

4. HANDMADE CRAFTSMANSHIP & COSMETIC DISCLAIMER

Every Stoner Canyon raft, cataraft, and inflatable vessel is individually hand-built and hand-assembled. Due to the artisanal, custom nature of hand manufacturing:

  • Cosmetic Variations Are Not Defects: Minor visual variations, slight alignment variations of D-ring patches, rub strips, handles, or seam tapes, minor glue traces, and natural fabric texture variations are inherent to hand craftsmanship.

  • Aesthetic Conditions Excluded: Any cosmetic condition or minor visual imperfection that does not directly compromise the air retention, structural integrity, or safe operational seaworthiness of the vessel is strictly excluded from warranty coverage.

5. SOLE REMEDY AND WARRANTY CLAIMS PROCESS

If a product is suspected of having a manufacturing defect:

  1. Submit a Claim: The Purchaser must contact Stoner Canyon Rafts at TheBruh@raftbruh.com with the original order number, serial/HIN number, detailed photos/videos of the issue, and photos of the storage environment.

  2. Inspection: If requested, the Purchaser must ship the thoroughly cleaned and dried product to Stoner Canyon Rafts (or a designated repair facility) for physical evaluation. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping, freight, and insurance costs to and from Stoner Canyon Rafts.

  3. Stoner Canyon's Option: If Stoner Canyon Rafts determines in its sole discretion that a manufacturing defect exists, Stoner Canyon will, at its option:

    • Repair the defect at no charge for labor or materials;

    • Replace the defective component or raft; or

    • Issue a pro-rated store credit toward a replacement vessel.

Repairs performed by Stoner Canyon or an authorized repair shop constitute full and final satisfaction of all obligations under this warranty.

6. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. STONER CANYON RAFTS, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: STONER CANYON RAFTS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR TRIP CANCELLATION COSTS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
